Dairy Assistant

We are looking for someone to join our clients team for the 2024-2025 season milking 500 cows in a rotary dairy. Minimum 2 years work experience in the dairy industry is required for this role. 

Situated  in Mid Canterbury among some of the best scenery and activities right on your doorstep including skiing, fishing, water sports, hiking and mountain biking. 

· Team working environment

· A range of duties, not only milking

· On farm accommodation available, three-bedroom house

· On and off farm training encouraged

The successful applicant will work with  the farm owner and two other staff members. They will take responsibility for assigned aspects of the day to day management of the farm.

· Require minimal supervision.

· Be a team player

· Minimum 2 years work experience in the dairy industry 

· Time management skills

This position would suit someone with a genuine interest in the dairy industry, willingness to learn; livestock/agricultural and machinery experience; driver’s license; eligible to work in New Zealand
