About The Role:
Max People are seeking experienced civil Labourers,  to join our team in Christchurch. You will be an essential part of our construction projects, assisting with various tasks to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.

What You Will Be Doing:
 

• Assist in construction activities such as digging, trenching, and compacting soil.
• Transport and handle construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and ensuring safety measures are in place.
• Operate basic construction equipment under supervision.
• Provide assistance to tradespeople as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition. 

Qualifications and Requirements:
 

• Basic construction skills and familiarity with tools and equipment
• Prior experience in construction
• Current WTR
• Class 1 and 2 license is required.
• Strong attention to H&S.
• Reliable transport.
• Good level of physically fitness.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe - we can assist with this.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
