We are looking for a person with a fantastic work ethic who not only is passionate about the hospitality industry but has the right skills to maintain and improve our Resort to keep it looking at its five-star best. You will join a grounds team .

We have an opportunity for someone looking to escape the rat race and live 50 metres from one of the most beautiful and safe beaches in NZ. The package includes accommodation in a one-bedroom cottage, living in our five-star Holiday Park.

You will be responsible for assisting with maintaining the heated pool and spa, general maintenance within the Resort, grounds repairs and maintenance. Further, there is rostered night duties, including late check-ins, security and pool closure.

The ideal candidate will need to have;

-          Advanced handyman skills in a range of areas related to grounds and building maintenance

-          Excellent problem-solving skills

-          Proven planning and excellent time management

-          Be physically fit and energetic

-          Be well presented

-          A knowledge of OSH regulations

-          Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate to a wide range of people, as well as work with and inspire fellow colleagues

-          A current driver’s licence

-          The ability to work independently and use your own initiative

-          Swimming Pool maintenance qualification a bonus

Our work here is seasonal, and we do have busy summers and quieter winters, we need someone who is not shy to pitch in and help out when needed and who pull together and support the rest of the team over these busy times.

This is a great chance for the right person to get stuck into some hands on work out and about and get satisfaction from seeing our guests enjoying the changes and improvements you make.
