Calving Support
We are looking for 1 or 2 people to start in our calving paddock assisting in picking up and tubing newly born calves identifying calved cows in our calving paddock team. The positions will start in July on our farm in Culverden, North Canterbury (80 mins north of Christchurch). You need to be confident with lifting and heavy, physical work. The duties include heavy lifting. Hours of work will vary but will be approx. 12 hours a day, 6 days a week on 1 day off during the busiest time and will be paid on an hourly basis. There may be work in the dairy sheds too. You get to work with others and accommodation will be provided. The Culverden township which has a 4Square, cafe, pub, petrol station etc. You will need a car and a relevant licence to drive in New Zealand. No experience is necessary.
