CASUAL KIWIFRUIT SEASONAL WORK – 2026/27

Sakarath Private Limited is a well-established kiwifruit contracting company offering consistent seasonal work in a safe, respectful and supportive working environment.

📅 WORK PERIOD

Work starts from 30 September 2026 and is expected to continue through to approximately the end of February 2027, depending on orchard requirements and seasonal conditions.

📍 WORK AREAS

Work will be available across the Tauranga to Waihi areas.

🍃 WORK AVAILABLE

Our seasonal work may include:

* Bud thinning
* Tipping
* Summer pruning
* Fruit thinning
* General kiwifruit orchard work as required

🌦️ WEATHER & WORKING HOURS

Work is weather dependent, and working hours may vary according to weather and orchard conditions.

When weather and orchard conditions are suitable, we generally work around 8–9 hours per day.

Weekend work is also part of our normal work schedule.

This is a physical outdoor job involving a lot of walking, so a reasonable level of fitness is essential.

💰 PAY RATE

$24.00 per hour + 8% holiday pay

Holiday pay will be paid in addition to the hourly rate in accordance with applicable employment requirements.

📋 REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:

* Own reliable transport
* Own accommodation
* Proof of eligibility to work in New Zealand
