Roading And Civil Workers

The warmer months are coming, and our clients are gearing up for a busy construction and roading season. We're looking for hardworking, reliable people to join crews across a variety of civil and infrastructure projects.

Whether you're an experienced operator, a traffic management professional, or a physically fit labourer keen to get stuck in, we want to hear from you.

Work is located in the Timaru and South Canterbury area, however, some projects require travel outside the region - accommodation is provided and a stay-away allowance is paid when working away from Timaru. 

• Civil Labourers
• Machine Operators + Roller Operators
  • WTR endorsements required
• Class 4 Drivers
• Traffic Management Staff (with qualifications or experience)
• Leading Hand

No two days are the same. Depending on your experience, you could be involved in:

• Road maintenance and construction projects
• Site preparation and excavation
• Operating machinery and equipment
• Driving heavy vehicles
• Traffic management and site safety
• Physical labour, including digging, sweeping, wheelbarrow work, and general site duties

• Competitive hourly rates
• Immediate starts available
• Ongoing summer work with potential for longer-term opportunities
• Travel allowance where applicable
• Stay-away allowance for out-of-town projects
• Work with reputable civil and infrastructure companies

• Relevant licences, tickets, or industry experience (advantageous)
• Ability to work away from home when required
