Vegan Cafe Asst Manager Week Days

Revive Cafe has been an Auckland CBD institution for over 20 years — serving thousands of fresh, healthy plant-based meals every week. We are open Monday to Friday only. No nights, no weekends, no public holidays. The cafe closes over Christmas and New Year.

About the role

You will run the day-to-day service alongside our Operations Manager. We don't do table service or cook to order — our style is fresh cabinet food made daily. No coffee or alcohol.

Typical hours are Mon-Fri 11am-5pm (half hour unpaid break). Sometimes earlier start (eg. 9am if setting up). Note start/finish times will vary sometimes

What you'll be doing

Serving customers in a super friendly way

Setup, cashup, cleaning, setting out cabinet

Other admin duties like ordering, training new staff

Relieving other areas once trained like nut butter making, fulfilment for online orders

Who we're looking for

Someone with hospitality experience who stays calm during busy periods, brings great energy, and is reliable and trustworthy. You don't need to be vegan — just genuinely interested in real, healthy food. Must have the right to work in New Zealand.
