Cherry Pickers

Cherryland has limited spaces for Cherry Picking roles available for the upcoming Cherry Harvest. The estimated start date is between 20-25th November this would be for approximately 3-4 weeks.

Previous contract/ piece rate experience with fruit (cherries)/ vegetables/ farm work is essential. You need to be physically fit, self-motivated and available to work 7 days!

Pay is paid on contract (5kg bucket) + 8% HP + paid breaks (contract rate varies according to fruit quality, ripening etc) if you don't make contract it reverts back to $23.95+8% HP.

If you have a self contained van there is the ability to stay on site while you are working for us. We are right on the town boundary in Blenheim and have a Pak N Save supermarket and Warehouse Pharmacy right next door. We have free WIFI (fibre) available at the packhouse for all pickers staying on site.
