Warehouse Team Member

Daltons Limited, based in Matamata, are suppliers of bulk and bagged growing media and landscape products to many of NZ’s leading landscapers, retailers and nurseries. Due to increasing demand, we are looking for an additional team member to assist in our Warehouse.  We are happy to employ people over the busy period of Spring and Summer if they are ot looking for a permanent job. 

Experience in the following areas preferred but not essential as training will be provided to the successful applicant:
•  Experience with automated processing equipment
•  Forklift Driving including loading and unloading trucks
•  Picking and packing orders
•  General warehouse duties

The successful applicant for this role will have a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to ensure Daltons customers are well supported with an efficient and friendly delivery service. Applicants must be reliable, physically fit and able to work as part of a team. Time management skills and understanding of good health & safety practices are essential in filling this role. Daltons are looking for applicants that understand customers are key to a successful business.
 

Hours: Generally Monday to Friday,
7.30am – 5pm, with longer hours required during spring and other busy periods. Saturday work as required.
