Farm Assistant Up To $28hr Til May 24

We have a farm assistant position to start beginnng January '24 in Te Pirita area through to May '24 with hourly pay of up to $27/hour depending on experience.  Shared Accommodation is provided.

For this role, having some milking experience would be advantageous and...

• A good attitude, good initiative and strong work ethic (mandatory)
• At least some previous experience with dairy farm, large animal, and/or in Agriculture/Viticulture/Horticulture 
• Motorbike, quad driving ability and ideally tractor skills (mandatory for some jobs not for all)
• Good English speakers who can listen to and follow instructions. Communication is key
• Hold a valid drivers license (even an international license) and have your own vehicle
• Can work outside under various conditions
• Can work rotating rosters

Package will include: hourly wage + 8 % holiday pay + accommodation.
