Chef

The Park Hotel Ruapehu is currently recruiting for a chef to join our team, to start immediatly.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation requirements
• Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies
• Maintain a clean, safe and tidy work environment at all times
• Ensure stock is controlled and rotated
• Organise a daily work schedule and ordering requirements
• Work unsupervised, being able to manage other chefs and orders
• Assist in supervising and training of the kitchen staff as required

National Park Village is on the outskirts of the Tongariro National Park, central North Island- if you enjoy the outdoors this is the place for you! We are just a 20 minute drive up to the Whakapapa Ski area, so it is the ideal base if you are looking to get up the hill.
