Selling my trustworthy home on the wheels companion after over 2 years of travelling Aotearoa without a single problem in return for a regular service interval and maintenance.

It's been great to experience first hand this special van renowned for reliability with "bulletproof" 3.0L 1KZ-TE turbo-diesel engine famous for regularly going over 1,000,000 kilometers.

Just passed warranty of fitness in June with fresh brakes, tyres, oil and filters and was independently tested by Drivesure. Next WOF due to December 2026. REGO and RUCs paid up to date.

Green self-contained certification valid until 2029 allowing freedom camping almost anywhere in NZ.

Bigger wheels with new commercial grade light van tyres 205/70R15C combined with high suspension provides comfortable and safe performance even in mud, snow or fords and streams as well as steep hills that were not a problem considering it's a Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) with automatic transmission and fuel efficiency below 10 l/100km.

Overall drives like a dream- compact van small from outside (maneuvering/parking like a normal car) while spaciously utilized inside with great interior versatility.

TRAVELS & ADVENTURES: including adult kayak/paddle with soft roof racks for boards and rear bike rack, snow chains, starting cables, hydraulic jack, spare tyre underneath and various handy tools for repairs or other projects.
CAMPING: cooker, dishes, utensils, sink with tap, toilet, solar shower, tables and chairs etc...big whole vanwidth size bed with mattresses and woolen topper including understorage accessible from front, back or above and convertible into a sitting room with three benches and a table though during rainy days was comfy enough to sit and chill just on the bed fully straightened with enough room for head under the roof (I'm 194cm tall). Cooking is also very convenient sitting inside (wind,rain) or halfway by the side (wind).

Solar system with deep cycle battery and backup battery is absolute must for off-grid energy autonomy featuring big fridge, USB, 12V and 230V sockets, lights, small vacuum cleaner etc.

Thermal, light and sound comfort with insulated roof, carpeted floor and blackout curtains. All 4 sun and moon roofs with retractable blinds can be opened for extra fresh air or just for skywatching. When blinds are shut with tinted windows no sun heat or sound get in and during cold nights keeps warmth inside. Had comfy camping even under Mt Cook in winter.
