2000 Mercedes-Benz MB140D - aka "BeeDee" 🐝

- 🌞 REDARC 120W Solar panel and extra battery with turn off switch, that has always easily supported our needs even with charging multiple devices and the fridges constantly, it runs: • 🎛 EPEVER MPPT Tracer Solar Charge Controller 2210AN (amazing quality, mechanic advised it is MUCH better than actually needed!) • 🧊 Built in new Sunny Tech Solar 50L spacious fridge (never used before us, lockable). • 📲 4 x USB ports. • 🔌2 x 12V accessory sockets (Repco power inverter 150W included for a power socket to charge laptops, battery packs, electric toothbrushes etc.) • 💡LED lights above bed and in kitchen. • 📺 Mounted adjustable Uniden LED TV with DVD player (Marine aerial not currently connected for channels as HDMI port was good enough for us, but easy to reconnect if desired).

Additional stuff: - 🌷🪴 3 lovely plants if you want them! - 📻 New Sony FM/AM Radio with Bluetooth and USB port (Connects for calls and audio). - 🔥🔥 2 burner portable gas stove. Has built in cupboard space right next to the side door and you can cook inside with the window open to avoid those rainy days, stand on the step and cook from outside or remove it to have dinner on the beach. - 🛢Marine LPG gas tank (2kg), lasts us many months being used every day. Tank certified and restamped in Feb 23 which is valid for 10 years. No expensive tank swapping, just take it to be refilled and pay for the gas itself (less than $15). - 🧽 Full size actual sink with pump tap and draining board, with an extra draining board mat! No silly mixing bowl sink to be seen here! - 🚱 24L freshwater and greywater tanks (all plumbing updated for new recent self-containment regulations). Tanks tucked away under sink and easily accessed for emptying/refilling with built in extra under sink storage for extra tea towels, toilet roll and dishwasher liquid etc. - 🚾 10L toilet and chemicals (we've never used it as rest spots in NZ are incredible, but it's there and easily accessible with the bed up). - ⛺ Detachable Outdoor Revolution Nomad 3 awning/massive tent with sides which attaches to a bar on the side of the van in great condition, allowing wind and rain protection! - 🪑 2 x camping chairs and small camping stool if you're lazy and don't like standing to cook like us. - 🔪Built in knife block with a knife for every occasion and fully stocked spice rack (we're foodies so there's a lot more now than pictured!) No silly curtains that don't keep the cold or light out. - 🛏 Thick specially made mattress pads that mean you can have a super cosy sofa or easy to pull-out double bed. Heaps of space still even with the bed up to cook and access the fridge etc. - 👩‍💻 Pull out table for eating or working. - 🚐 Has a tow bar with multiple size attachments. - 📱Phone holder for driving. - 👍 You can walk through into the cab without leaving the van due to a removable cupboard that doubles as a table/seat/chess board that pulls out of the walkway, so you don't have to go outside. - 🗄 Storage everywhere with purpose-built cupboards from gorgeous wood, a mix of light and stained. Also a massive amount of under bed and behind seat storage if you're travelling extra heavy. We've both fully unpacked our whole lives into the storage spaces easily. - ☀️🌪 Kept us cool in summer, warm in minus degrees, and safe and dry through the cyclone in 2023. Great in the cold and wet weather, but comes with two big duvets, a super cosy blanket, heaps of pillows and a hot water bottle anyway! - 🤷🏼‍♀️ Can leave extra bed sheets and set of towels (body and hand/face) if needed. - 🥾 2 x floor mats to keep your feet warm and the floor protected. - 🗑 Bin with clip close spill proof lid. - ❗ Spare tyre and jack. - ⚙ Additional spare parts e.g. bulbs, extension lead, cigarette charger etc. - ⚡Plug in fan, handheld mini vacuum, and Himalayan salt rock lamp. - 🧹 Cleaning supplies. - 🧺 Laundry hanger. - 🎲 Books, games, and a puzzle. - 📖 Travel guides and NZ bird guide. - 💄Built in face mirror. - Plus so much more!! 🤯

Vehicle history: - 1 previous owner as a camper who designed the conversion with a professional for her and her grandkids and used only new, top-quality products. We finished by getting the fridge wired in by an auto electrician. - Serviced every year (folder of all work history from previous owner and us in the van). - Many minor things updated/renewed by previous owner and us for peace of mind and extra safety in 2021-23 e.g. drive belts, alternator, shock absorbers, pullies, mountings, bulbs, seat belt, fuses, wheel alignment etc. New wiper blades, brake shoes cleaned and realigned and handbrake tightened in 2023 (paperwork provided). - No pesky cambelt to worry about here (chain driven)!

We absolutely adore this van and if the UK were closer or it was cheaper to ship, she would be coming home with us. She's reliable, secure and has never given us any grief. She is so cosy and has all the luxuries, comforts and space of a much bigger van, meaning you can easily live in her full time. She also isn't a long wheelbase or high top, so anyone can easily drive her, and she can park everywhere cars can, on or off road!

We are so sad to be letting her go after nearly 2 years, but will be happy for someone else to have the experience we have had driving around this fantastic country and getting compliments from literally everyone who sneaks a peek in!
