The Catlins lie in the region of Clutha on the east coast of the South Island. Its an area of lush forest, cascading waterfalls and untouched beauty. Its also an amazing place to spot wildlife such as fur seals, sea-lions and penguins. A must do thing to do in the region is to visit the most well known and iconic lighthouse in NZ at Nugget Point
