Right in the heart of Auckland City. Good quality accommodation for all visitors; casual, weekly or long term. The YWCA hostel is a great place to stay whether you are visiting Auckland for a night or planning to study here for a year.
We are conveniently located right in the heart of the city, only a few minutes walk from AUT, University of Auckland and many international language schools. The hostel has a public cafe onsite.
The hostel has six floors with 164 rooms and we offer accommodation to adult female and male residents, on either a long-term, medium-term or casual basis. In line with YWCAs internationally, we retain two floors for women only.
The majority of our residents are long term and approximately 60% are students. Hostel facilities include a large communal kitchen and dining room with courtyard and barbeque, lounges with Sky TV and wireless internet. We have coin-operated laundries and limited secure parking for $50 per week. Communal bathrooms and kitchens are professionally cleaned daily. All bed linen, plates, cutlery and cooking equipment are provided free of charge.
