Payroll Administrator

Payment: Paid Position ($22-26 DOE)
  IMPORTANT INFO: From the 1st April 2019 the minimum wage is $17.70 per hour. Please inform us if an employer is offering less
Location: Auckland - Central
Region: Auckland
Experience: Experience Necessary

We are currently looking for an experienced payroll administrator to assist a busy team based in a large Healthcare Organisation in Greenlane, Auckland.

This is a temporary position for a 3 month period

The Role

  • Manage and control the recording and recovery of over-payments
  • Provide assistance in answering customer queries from both internal & external parties
  • Investigation of over-payments and system processes.
  • Assisting pay run coordinator with the main and supplementary pay runs

The Ideal Candidate

  • 1-2 years payroll experience within a large organisation
  • Strong knowledge of payroll principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in customer service and or collections would be an advantage
