Farm Worker

We have a short term opportunity for someone interested in NZ dairy farming from 20th July for 3 months, through the calving season on our 1400 cow dairy farm. 

The role will involve:

picking up calves 

milking cows 

spraying weeds

Various other jobs 

The farm has halter cow collar technology  and milks through an 80 bale shed. 

If you have a great attitude, quick learner and have good English we would be keen to hear from you, or even better have experience. 

 

Accommodation is 1 bedroom house, furnished with power and internet included in rent. 
 

Working holiday visas or Nz residents/citizenship only. 

NO sponsorship visas or applications from overseas please  

located in mayfield, South Island. 
 

$26 /hr (incl holiday pay) less rent for accommodation 

paid fortnightly 

Roster 6 on 2 off

410ha 

40-50 hrs with hours gradually increasing when more cows calve
