Farm Assistant/calf Rearing

Calf Rearer Wanted – Methven, Canterbury

Seasonal position available from late July to early December on our 1,200-cow dairy farm near Methven. Work availbe before this on a part time basis.

We’re looking for someone with experience working with animals who takes pride in achieving excellent calf health and welfare outcomes. Duties include feeding calves, milking, monitoring health, maintaining calf sheds, and ensuring high animal welfare standards.

You’ll be joining a farm with a strong team culture, where everyone works together to get the job done. A good sense of humour is essential – calving is busy, and we like to enjoy a laugh along the way.
