Field Techician

Mineral Exploration – Field Technician – Monday to Friday – approx. 45-50 hours a week (flexible)

We are looking for field technicians to join our exploration team. The roles are fixed term, 3 months beginning 6/07/2026. This a great opportunity for someone who enjoys work outdoors.

The work will be hands-on and physical, and therefore requires a high degree of physical capability. The nature of the work may require early starts, late finishes and occasional overtime.

The work is varied and will involve:

• Geochemical sampling in native bush, including soil sampling
• Lab technician activities, such as sieving samples and drill core processing
• Environmental monitoring
• Data entry

About you:

• A high level of physical fitness as the role involves serious hiking with heavy packs
• A good team player and able to work individually
• You will be flexible and adaptable
• Being respectful of Health, Safety & Environmental procedures
• Must be willing to get hands dirty and enjoy working outdoors
• Must be competent in Microsoft office and computer skills
• Must hold a valid drivers license 
• Ability to operate a manual vehicle is preferable
• Prior experience in the industry is not required

The successful applicant must be a NZ citizen, resident or have the legal right to work in NZ full time
