Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and loves being part of a team? We are seeking a motivated Greenkeeper’s Assistant to help maintain our thriving and well-loved 9-hole golf course in the heart of sunny Hawke’s Bay, a region renowned for its excellent golfing conditions and year-round outdoor lifestyle.

Working alongside our Course Superintendent/Head Greenkeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring the course is presented to the highest standard for our members and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and roughs
• Bunker maintenance and course setup
• Irrigation system monitoring and repairs
• Weed, pest, and turf management
• General grounds and landscaping work
• Operating and maintaining turf equipment
• Assisting with course improvement projects

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good level of physical fitness
• Attention to detail and pride in your work
• Experience in greenkeeping, horticulture, landscaping, farming, or grounds maintenance is essential
• Full driver's licence necessary
