Kumara Packhouse Team Member

We are currently seeking a packer, stacker, grader to join the team at DI & JG Foster Ltd. Based right next to the Kaitaia township we grow, harvest and pack our premium range of Kumara for the NZ market. 

 We are looking for a team member that would be able to fulfil the following:

Job Responsibilities:

• Grading of Kumara
• Weighing and Stacking of crates (20kg)
• Labelling of crates
• Strapping of pallets
• Assist in daily setup of packhouse and end of day shutdown

About You:

• Eye for detail on grade quality and labelling
• Class 1 drivers license
• Forklift license (preferred by not essential)
• Physically fit to lift and stack 20kg crates as required throughout the day
• Reliable team player that enjoys working with others
• Can accept change at short notice.
• Good communication skills to work with supervisor and extended team.
• Committed to responsible, safe operation of all machinery and compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures. 
• Right to work in NZ. Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa

This is a casual position with days of  approx 3 - 4 days per week.
