This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of our amazing kitchen team. We have a number of Chef roles available with great training and development opportunities.
The successful applicant will have at least 2 years of relevant work experience. We run a 7 day roster - weekend and evening work will be required.
Commis Chef and Chef de Partie Responsibilities will include:
- To manage the operation and organisation of a section of the kitchen.
- Assisting chefs and producing stipulated items related to the menus and functions to the restaurant standards, to satisfy diner expectations.
- Produce maximum quality whilst assisting the Head Chef.
- Plan and organise work flows and order food as required.
- Assisting the Head Chef in costing recipes and developing menu items for the restaurant.
- Keep kitchen environment and equipment clean and tidy and operational.
- Uphold morale and communicate with and support fellow staff. Provide training to kitchen staff as necessary.
