Dairy Farm Assistant X 2

Join a friendly team on our 1100 cow dairy farm in Kuratau over the busy calving period (2-3 months).  You will work between 70 - 80 hours of work per fortnight with 6 days on and 2 days off.  Duties include milking cows, feeding calves, cleaning equipment and general farm work.

Experience riding a motorbike and having an affinity for animals would be big advantages. You must be fit, strong and have a good command of English.  You will also need your own car as we are 30 minutes drive from the nearest city. 

We provide a semi-furnished 2-bedroom house with 2 ensuite bathrooms that would be suitable for 2 people travelling together or a couple. The house has spectacular views of Lake Taupo and Mt Ruapehu, is rent free and includes free electricity and internet.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work and explore the surrounding areas of Lake Taupo with Skiing and Mountain bike trails aplenty.
