Ski Shop Rentals Staff

We run a busy Ski and Board shop in Ohakune (central North Island) and require a customer focused, reliable & hardworking ski/board rental assistant for the 2026 ski/board season.

You must be friendly, outgoing and enjoy working with and helping people new to snow sports, speak/type and understand ENGLISH clearly.

Generally, the job involves renting out skis/boards in the morning (fleet is approx 1000 skis and 450 boards), and then getting it back again in the afternoon  Work is shift work, ie work in the morning and again in the afternoons and evenings, so the middle of the day is free to ski/ride.

We have a world class ski rental and workshop operation, equipped with Montana machine, including a Montana Diamond Robot (with 2 stones, edge and wax units), Montana Combi, P-tex Master, 3D, Wax Master, Wax Future and Jet Bond machines.

The shop is all computerized using dedicated rental software

Your wage depends on experience! Up to $30 per hour.

Ideally you have worked in a ski/board shop for at least 1 season!!
Approx 35-40 hours per week. More hours available if wanted (just means less time to ski/ride?)

Must have VERY good English, good computer skills  and an interest in snowsports!!

Start is early July (depends on snow arriving), and contract runs until Oct 11
