Distillery Assistant

We are a Gin and Liqueur Distillery located between Tauranga and Katikati in a beautiful rural location in the Bay of Plenty. We make gin and liqueurs in small batches and we run distillery tours and gin experiences. We are getting to the point where we need some help. You need to be outgoing and able to communicate well. The rest, we'll teach, including our immersive experience, how we make our spirits and also help other people make their own! We are looking for an enthusiastic, charismatic, hard-working individual to join our small friendly team. The work is varied and you'll likely get a chance to be involved in all aspects of our spirit production (distilling, bottling, labelling, etc.) and the hospitality side showing guests what we do.

Responsibilities

Assisting the head distiller with things like distilling, bottling, labelling, etc.

Meets and greet visitors in a professional courteous manner.
Assist with tours through the distillery.
Promote the sale of our products to our customers.
Capable of multi tasking on busy days.

Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for passionate individuals with outgoing personalities who have a real enthusiasm for both our product and providing truly engaging experiences for our customers. You will be confident in speaking in groups as the role will entail you bringing to life the guided tours with your charismatic flair. The ability to work within a team is essential and a flexible approach is required as weekends and possibly some evening work is an integral part of the role. Previous customer service experience would be beneficial but not necessary as full training will be given.

Working hours: we are open Wednesday to Sunday 11am - 6pm.
