Farm Assistant

Dairy Farm position, feeding stock, putting up break fences, spraying weeds, cleaning cowshed etc. Repairs and maintenence around the farm. We milk 570 cows through a rotary shed with in shed feeding. Position is milking cows twice per day, daily jobs around the day to day running of the farm. Depending on experience more day work would be available. Approximatly 40 hours per week depending on experience. Some milking experience and able to ride a 4 wheeler or 2 wheeler motorbike is essential.

Ideally would suit a person with a rural background, or experience this position is only for one person only, but accomodation can accomodate a couple.

We would like someone who can commit to a minimum of 4 months of work

A 1 bedroom cottage is availabe it is partly furnished. Rent is $185.00 per week includes power. Pay rate is negotiabe if you have relevant farming experience.

Farm is located 10 minutes from Inglewood and 30 minutes from New Plymouth. As farm is rural you would need to have your own vechile.
