Directions to Hostel
We currently have two locations. One is situated on 373 Gloucester Street (i.e. Main Kiwi House) and the other is on 357 Hereford Street (i.e. Small Kiwi House), both locations are 1.5km east from the square. Kiwi House is just after Fitzgerald Ave.(a 6 car lane avenue) on the left hand side of the road when coming from the city centre.
*from airport : Taking shuttle bus is the best way to get to Kiwi House.
They are outside of international arrival terminal (around half price of taxis) They will drop you off right in front of Kiwi House.
*from rail way station : Shuttle buses are there too. Just $5 to Kiwi House.
*We are around 15 minutes walk from the city centre. Despite the relatively close proximity to Cathedral Square (1.5kms from both locations) Kiwi House is in a residential area. This means that the cheaper transport options from the airport do not come directly to the door and require a bit of a walk. Because we know it is never fun to lug your luggage after a long flight, we suggest you either come directly via a shuttle from the airport, or taxi from the inner city or call us, once you have arrived at Cathedral Square and we will endeavour to come and pick you up.
