Breakfast Chef – Tees St Café

Location: Oamaru, Otago

Tees St Café is looking for an experienced and reliable Breakfast Chef to join our busy kitchen team.

We are seeking someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment and takes pride in preparing consistently high-quality breakfast and lunch dishes.

About the role

• Preparing and cooking breakfast and café-style meals
• Managing your section efficiently during busy services
• Assisting with food preparation and daily kitchen setup
• Maintaining excellent food presentation and consistency
• Following food-safety and hygiene requirements
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well stocked
• Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

About you

• Previous experience working as a breakfast chef or cook is required
• Confident working independently during busy services
• Reliable, organised and able to manage time well
• Positive attitude and a strong team player
• Available for early starts, weekends and public holidays
• Passionate about good food and quality presentation
