Best View In Nz? Summer Luxury Lodge Attendant

We are looking for a friendly, professional Lodge Attendant to work in a boutique 5 star, off-grid lodge on the shores of Lake Pukaki. We think this is an awesome place to work with all day views over the lake up to Aoraki/Mt Cook and the Southern Alps. It also makes a great base for an outdoor playground! The role is based 10 minutes from Twizel.

Ideally the start date would be the 18th January 2024 for 1 month with an option to extend.

We give 2 days off per week but are quite flexible if people want to take an  extra day or two to explore the region.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in hospitality and customer service. Ideally applicants will have previous experience in 5-star properties. A hospitality qualification is preferred but not essential. Applicants must be reliable, professional and physically fit with great interpersonal skills. We realise this is a varied role so training will be provided in required areas. We think this opportunity would be great for somebody who loves the outdoors like hiking, mountain biking etc.

Duties include: Welcoming and hosting guests, breakfast and dinner service, making teas and coffees, guest check ins and check outs and cleaning and servicing of guest rooms.

Shifts will generally be spilt - working 7:30am until 1pm then again 6pm until 9:30pm (giving a few hours in the best part of the day to explore the region). This job includes rostered weekend work.

This role is for applicants that are legally entitled to live and work in New Zealand. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and a legal right to drive in NZ. A drivers licence and vehicle will also be very handy for this role.

Applicants will be required to arrange their own accommodation (in Twizel) but we may be able to assist with this.
