Vineyard Work

Rimapere is a certified organic vineyard with in the heart of Marlborough's grape growing region. We are a small team running the vineyard and are looking for experienced staff to help us with some maintenance and pruning work this winter. 

This will include trellis maintenance and irrigation work and some pruning work, so cutting and wrapping canes. A big part of this job will include digging holes for planting and installation of subsurface irrigation. It will require strength and fitness. This is a casual position with generally about 35-40 hours work per week, extra work can be discussed at the time. You need to be physically fit, be able to work outside on your feet, rain or shine and have a positive attitude and be a team player. You will also need to have your own transport to and from work.

The position is available from now and should last for 2 months. We are open to extending contracts to help with some more general vineyard work afterwards.
