Start Now General Floral Worker Greenhouse/workroo

We are looking for a couple of energetic, enthusiastic and quick learners to help over our busy Valentine's Day and summer season starting immediately.

The role is varied and may include greenhouse work, cutting and grading roses as well as general plant maintenance.  Some work may also be in our workroom preparing flowers for supermarket sale, barcoding, sleeving etc and filling and emptying buckets.  It is a fast paced work environment as we work to courier deadlines and good time management is important.  Some of the tasks are quite physical and requires some reasonably heavy lifting of boxes, buckets etc.and being on your feet most of the day, so you need to be fit and healthy.  Attention to detail and being able to follow our quality control guidelines is important as is good english skills and a positive outlook. 

As it is our peak season, you will need to available to do some extra days/hours when required.  You will also need a valid working visa and a current driver’s licence.   We have a great team here at Moffatts in Halswell  Christchurch so if you fit the description and can start asap, send me an email with your details and cv to nona@moffatts.co.nz
