Carpenter/joiner

Successful candidate will be working as a part of the team, where the main work is focused on the finishing work in high-end luxury homes and installing joinery. Our bread and butter is work with pre-finished materials, solid timber.

Main duties:

• Measure, cut and build frames for houses, walls, windows, doors and staircases
• Measure and install joinery, such as cabinets, shelves and more
• Maintenance of existing structures and fittings
• Check the work accuracy using levels and surveying equipment
• Communicate with other trade professionals to ensure projects are completed in timely manner 
• Effective use of a large range of hand and power tools
• Heavy lifting of building materials and structures
• Measure, calculate, read and interpret plans and specifications
• Understand work H&S requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry

Full time job with a minimum of 6 months duration. Carpentry experience and eye for details is necessary. Candidates must hold a WHV or other open work visa.
