Hey!

Do you want to wake up to a beautiful sunrise over the waters of the Abel Tasman? We are looking for a Winter person from now until the 1st of September. There are also some short term positions (4 weeks) available also so get in touch if that sounds like you.

We are looking for a fun, reliable and hard-working person who is looking to have an awesome time working right at the start of the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park. The work will be helping out with housekeeping, cleaning, nursery work and odd jobs to keep the place looking tidy. For the right person you may learn some reception. For this job you just need to be keen to jump in, have a keen eye for detail, have a practical nature and the ability to problem solve as needed.

1. We provide your accommodation - the role is for 12 hours work a week (over 4 days) at for $22.70 hour (gross). This is a live in-position staying in a shared facilities cabin and your accommodation and expenses will be deducted from your weekly pay which is the equivalent of the old rule working for accommodation

This is an onsite role where the amount worked covers full time accommodation, internet access, laundry facilities, parking, and discounts for local activities in the Abel Tasman, such as Aqua Taxi trips, Kayaking and Skydiving. We do live rurally so being able to entertain yourself on quiet days is important too. The beautiful views and walks on our doorstep are fun to explore any weather too. We have a vege garden, chickens, are starting a nursery and very make the odd home brew beer and live by the beach!

You must hold a working visa (Not SSE), IRD number, and bank account number. Please get in touch and let us know your availability to start and how long you plan to be around.

Check out our website to get a feel for the place too! www.barn.co.nz

Come on over and enjoy your time in New Zealand in a beautiful and fun environment, whilst exploring the area.

Cheers,

Annie
