Open 7 days from 730am - 8pm during autumn and winter, we have a great group of loyal local customers and take pride in the supply of quality coffee.  We are positioned as a resupply point for Te Araroa Trail walkers, and the area is considered the gateway to many wilderness experiences in the Southern Alps.

Just 15 minutes from Wanaka, Hawea Store & Kitchen is Lake Hawea's 'one stop shop' offering groceries, a busy cafe, and take-aways 7 days a week, 364 days a year to a fast growing community.

TAKE AWAY COOK  - AFTERNOON/EVENING SHIFTS

We require a Take Away Cook to join our tight knit kitchen.

The right candidate will display the ability to cook across a takeaway menu with confidence; whilst adhering to industry standard practices in preparation and hygiene.

The ability to work well with people from all backgrounds is essential to this role.

We offer a varied roster of evening and day shifts across a 30-40 hour week and a competitive hourly rate plus incentives.  

Evening shifts commencing late afternoon make this the perfect position for someone keen to get out and make the best of the region during daylight hours.
