Plimmerton Beachfront- Short and Long Term Stays

The 6 bed house has 3 live in boarders and 3 rooms avaialble for short stays. Its a great chance to live in a 2 story hertage house in the heart of the little village Plimmerton and its right on the beachfront.

You would live in a furnished room, have unlimited internet, free power and the basics will be paid for. This includes toilet paper, tea, coffee, sugar, etc.

Maximum of 8 hours covers the room at above the award wage of $29per hour plus 8%holiday pay. Plenty of bar and cafe work around the areas or work from home.

Daily jobs are clearing dishwasher, removing any rubbish to outside bin and room changeovers if any. Vac, dusting, bathrooms and washing floors at least twicw a week. Room turnovers will be bedchanging and room cleaning. Only 2 to 3 rooms so not too hard. Boarders do their own rooms and dishes etc.

You will need to wash the sheets and keep the common areas clean..Once washing is dry it needs to be folded and put away.

You will need to show guests their rooms and check on bookings. Bronwyn will be support for bookings.

Looking for someone from 28 March to 26 June. Can do shorter stay but must be minimum 1 month.

Would also suit travelling digital nomad.

Under the new Government rules this is a paid job, working 8 hours per week, (@ $29.00+8% holiday pay) so you must already hold a valid Working Holiday Visa and have an IRD number. This is a live in position staying in a private room and your accommodation and expenses are $250.00 per week which will be deducted from your weekly pay which is the equivalent of the old rule working for accommodation, so you WILL NOT RECEIVE A WAGE but you will not be out of pocket and you will hae some pocket money.We will issue you with a contract explaining this when you start.
