Experienced  CDP / Sous Chef reqiured 

 We are looking for a Chef that has high standards and can handle a fast paced environment to join our crew at Ministry of works bar & Eatery  in Twizel (located 300km south of Christchurch) 

MOW Bar is an accredited employer and a work visa sponsorship is available for the right person.

Fastidious about the hospitality industry Ministry of Works Bar and Eatery (MOW Bar) Twizel could be just the place for you, we are looking for an enthusiastic chef with proven experience and passion for food to join our small team. 

We know first hand what it takes to work in a kitchen is hot and demanding. You need stamina, and a great sense of humor (you've got to be crazy right).You'll be taking the lead when our head chef is having his days off and therefore need to have some experience working on the line, being part of a team and leading a team.

  As we have a number of positions at present, Front of house and Kitchen staff so we would look at employing a couple, ideally our Chef would be a permanent full time position with sponsorship available for the right person. During the summer months we will employ extra staff thus creating a great fun environment for travelers and locals alike.  Our previous staff all offer great testimonials about the work/life balance that the beautiful Twizel and surrounding districts provides.
