Farm Work, Gardening

Hi, we are looking for one person to live on the farm for 2-3 months and help us with the grounds, weeding, mulching, weeds trimming, mowing and maintaining our 200 plus acres of Farm, native bush, and gardens. We have several buildings to maintain and keep tidy, ponds to look after and we are working in the vineyard. This is a very diverse job.

You need to be responsible, happy, motivated! Experience for using power tools and equipment such as mowers, weeds trimmers or chainsaw and general understanding of farm work would be appreciated.Start date will be as soon as possible, this role is for 1 person but we could have other vacancies if you are a couple. We generally supply accomodation, which is either a double or a twin room. However, we are undergoing some renovations which are not due to be completed until early december. If you are able to stay in your van/vehicle until then, the job could start immediatly.

Brick Bay Wines is a 200-acre farm with a small 3.5 Ha vineyard producing beautiful hand-crafted wines, a restaurant and world-renowned sculpture trail in the Matakana area about an hour north of Auckland city. The pay

We will supply accommodation on Brick Bay Farm including hot showers, laundry, unlimited Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen  for 1.5 hours voluntary work and pay you $21.20 per hour plus holiday pay for the remaining hours. If you are staying in your own vehicle, we would not deduct any voluntary work from your pay. We work 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday, 40 hours.
