Loco Cantina - Queenstown - Chef/cook

 

Loco Cantina are seeking an experienced cook to work between 30-40 hours per week cooking in a busy restaurant/bar

We are looking for an energetic individual that likes working in kitchens and is happy to pick up extra shifts helping the bar.

We need someone with:

  • ·         Experience in a commercial kitchen
  • ·         Experience with commercial dishwasher machinery
  • ·         Basic food preparation skills
  • ·         Fantastic time management skills
  • ·         A good understanding how to prep meals
  • ·         Understanding of cleaning chemicals
  • ·         High level of cleanliness and hygiene and understanding cross contamination
  • ·         Immaculate grooming and presentation
  • ·         Clear communication, customer service orientated
  • ·         Flexible availability – week days and weekends
    • Catering skills a massive bonus
