Cut Flower Nursery Worker

Employment Dates - ASAP - 18th August

We are New Zealand's largest grower of cut flowers and we have a range of indoor plants. We are 100% family owned and operated. Our mission is to grow New Zealand's finest products for Florists, Wholesalers and garden centres around the country. We are completing a crop change over and need additional labour to assist.

Main responsibilities, tasks, and duties may include, but aren't limited to:

- Pulling out of existing crops and replanting of new crops

- Setting up of growing equipment for new crops

- Disbudding of rose crop

- Assist with the maintenance and repair of the glasshouses and equipment.

- Ensure that your work and working environment complies with OSH standards.

We work 7.30am-4pm monday-friday

All of are crops are grown in greenhouse so bad weather isnt an issue but you must be able to cope with tempetures reaching 26-28 degrees. This is a physical job.
