Kitchen Hand

Del Mar Restaurant is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our back-of-house team as a Kitchen Hand. This role is vital in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and efficiency that support our chefs and overall kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation (e.g., washing, peeling, portioning).
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, including dishwashing and general cleaning tasks.
• Receive and store deliveries safely.
• Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling procedures.
• Support safe food handling and hygiene practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety.
• Good level of physical fitness and stamina to handle a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and punctual.
