Animal Lover/farm Helper

We are a fun FARM PARK  on the sensational Coromandel Peninsula. We have 8 acres of animal park (open to the public) and over 150 friendly animals, birds, and reptiles for you to fall in love with. You would help out daily with feeding and the general care-taking of the animals, (this involves cleaning up after them, not a glamourous role) as well as other odds and sods, like housework, painting, gardening, etc... For many, it's a great chance to experience new things, gain new skills, and create lifelong memories and friends.

You need to be mature, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and reasonably fit, and strong with a happy disposition.  Some initiative and common sense are essential!

We need someone with VERY good English who is able to help in the office and deal with the public on occasion. 

We are situated just 10 mins drive from the town center (Whitianga) and very close to Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove as well as at least six other gorgeous white sandy beaches. Your own car would be beneficial and would provide you with more freedom in your downtime. There is no public transport in this part of paradise.

We require a friendly, helpful work ethic and a 3-week long commitment minimum. 70% of helpers we have had, have chosen to stay longer. Most love it here and find it hard to leave. We have had some stay up to four months. Some come back twice and even return from overseas to come back and see us and the animals.  We are offering a truly unique experience that you just can't pay for... for most who stay this experience is priceless.

You would be required to work 4 hours a day with a day off each week.  This is a live-in position staying onsite in a caravan or house bus with your own separate shower/kitchen block.  You will have privacy and your own area to hang out in. Your accommodation costs will be paid for by the hours you help out. Therefore you will not receive a wage
