Ski Shop Technician 2026 Season

We run a busy Ski and Board shop in Ohakune (central North Island) and require customer focused, reliable & hardworking ski/board technician for the 2026 ski/board season.

You must be friendly, outgoing and enjoy working with and helping people new to snow sports, speak/type and understand ENGLISH clearly.

Generally, the job involves maintaining our rental fleet (approx 1000 skis and 450 boards), and tuning Customers skis and boards. Most work is in the afternoons and evenings, so your days are free to ski/ride.

We have a world class workshop, equipped with Montana machine, including a Montana Diamond Robot (with 2 stones, edge and wax units), Montana Combi, P-tex Master, 3D, Wax Master, Wax Future and Jet Bond tuning machines

Your wage depends on experience! Up to $40 per hour.

Do not apply if you have not worked in a ski/board workshop for at least 2 years!!
Approx 35-40 hours per week. More hours available if wanted (just means less time to ski/ride?)

Must have VERY good English, good computer skills  and an interest in snowsports!!

Start is end of June, but depends on when the snow falls, and contract runs until Oct 11 2026
