Housekeeper needed

Mt Vernon Lodge is a wedding, conference and accommodation venue set in a secluded, picturesque location just minutes from central Akaroa. 

We are looking for a housekeeper to join our small, dedicated team.

While experience is not necessary (full training will be given) you must be reliable, with a good work ethic, an eye for detail and be able to work on weekends. This is predominantly a housekeeping/cleaning role, however there is some variety with other duties including, but not limited to, gardening, painting and other maintenance, as required. 

The hours of work are normally 9.30am - 3.30pm, however this may change depending on the workload, we pay an above average hourly rate, with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week.

We would prefer someone who is open to a longer-term stay of at least 3 months (or more) but can be flexible for the right person.

Accommodation is not included; however, if you have a self-contained camper, parking is available on-site.
