Kiwifruit Bud Thinning

Lodder Farms is a small, family owned kiwifruit orchard. Our orchards are located in Motueka and Riwaka in the beautiful Tasman region. Top of the South Island.

We are looking for approx. 10 people to join our bud thinning team, to help remove excess  or misshapen flowers from our Red and gold Kiwifruit orchards. 

This is approximately 3 weeks work, starting Monday 12th October. with the potential for ongoing work for just a few.

We are looking for for Energetic people, physically strong, fit and able to work 8-9 hours per day. 

The work isn't difficult but it does involve your arms working above your head and looking up all day.

You must be able to work outdoors, follow instructions, have good attention to detail and work as part of a team.

You must be a New Zealander or have a valid working Visa.

Have your own transport

For your safety, ideally your height is between 165cm - 180cm (due to canopy height)

 there are bees and pollen in the orchards at this time of year.

We have a small amount of accommodation available. (rates on application)

We do have parking space for self contained vehicles only.
