COMMIS CHEF WANTED – MOUNT MAUNGANUI

We’re looking for a Commis Chef to join our busy hospitality team in Mount Maunganui.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has some kitchen experience, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a fun, hardworking team.

The role will include:
• Food preparation and service
• Working your own section during service
• Assisting our senior chefs with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Maintaining high food quality and presentation standards
• Following food safety and hygiene requirements
• Stock rotation, portion control and minimising waste
• Keeping your section clean, organised and ready for service
• Communicating with the kitchen and front-of-house team

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has previous kitchen or chef experience
• Is reliable, hardworking and proactive
• Can stay calm and organised during busy services
• Has good communication skills
• Works well as part of a team
• Has excellent personal hygiene and takes pride in their work
• Is available across a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays
