Cafe Manager Barista Allrounder

Join our friendly team at Kurow Café & Kitchen! We’re looking for two people who enjoy good coffee, welcoming customers and working together.

Café Manager — full-time, long-term

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on café manager with strong barista skills. You’ll organise daily operations, lead the team, maintain standards and work alongside everyone during service. Good English, a friendly personality and strong organisational skills are essential.

Barista All-Rounder — minimum 3 months

Previous barista experience and confidence using a commercial espresso machine are essential. Latte art skills would be great! You’ll make coffee, take orders, serve food and help with dishes, cleaning and daily café tasks. You’ll need good English and a willingness to lend a hand wherever needed.

Kurow is a small South Island town, ideal for someone who enjoys the outdoors and a quieter lifestyle. Staff accommodation is available next to the café.

We are an accredited employer and may be able to support an AEWV for a suitable long-term candidate, subject to eligibility.
