Avocado Orchard Work

1 position available start from 28 September and 2 positions available to start from 7 October. 

This role involves repetitive physical work and may include either ground picking or Hydralada picking, depending on operational requirements and availability. 

Ground picking involves carrying a picking bag containing approximately 20–25kg of avocados, walking on uneven ground, reaching above shoulder height, and performing physically demanding work outdoors for up to 9 hours per day. 

Hydralada picking involves working at height from an elevated platform. This position does not require carrying a picking bag but requires you to be comfortable working at height and following safety procedures while operating on the Hydralada. Please let us know if you unable to work at height.

Currently picking 4 days a week and pruning one to two days a week to make up 5-6 days a week.

Rural place, best you own a car so you can get around easily. 

If you do not have your own transportation, car pool option may be available and accommodation near orchard at cost.

Required valid visa, no oversea visitor please.

Fruit picking experience preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
