Grill Chef – Seabreeze Cafe & Bar, Picton

Full-Time | Permanent or Seasonal

Seabreeze Cafe & Bar sits right on the Picton waterfront, overlooking beautiful Queen Charlotte Sound, and we're looking for an experienced Grill Chef to join our fantastic team!

We're open to two possibilities – someone local looking for a permanent, long-term position, or an experienced traveller wanting to work with us for 4–6 months over our busy summer season.

About the Role

• Full-time position, starting October/November
• Permanent or seasonal employment (4–6 months)
• Working the grill section across breakfast, lunch and/or dinner services
• Joining a busy, well-established waterfront café with a friendly, supportive kitchen team

What You'll Need

• Proven grill experience in a commercial kitchen
• Speed, consistency and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• A clean, organised working style and solid food safety knowledge
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
• Must already have the legal right to work in New Zealand
