Labourer / Trade Assistant – Waiheke Island

We’re looking for a practical, reliable Labourer / Trade Assistant to join our team for a project based on Waiheke Island.

This is a hands-on, outdoor role assisting our technicians with an irrigation project. The position is for the duration of the Waiheke project, however there may be the opportunity for further casual work with our team across Auckland once the project is completed.

The Role

You’ll be working alongside our experienced team and helping with a range of practical site tasks, including:

• Assisting with irrigation installation work
• Digging, trenching and general site preparation
• Carrying and organising tools and materials
• Assisting technicians as required
• Keeping the work area tidy and safe
• General hands-on labour associated with the project

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Practical, physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Reliable and willing to get stuck in
• Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
• Comfortable with physical work and getting your hands dirty

Previous experience in building, carpentry, plumbing, landscaping, drainlaying, gardening or other practical/trade-based work would be an advantage, but it is not essential.

A good attitude and willingness to work are more important to us than formal qualifications.
