Kiwifruit Flower & Bud Thinning – Whanganui.

Looking for consistent outdoor work this spring? Vine Grow is looking for reliable people to join

our team for the 2026 kiwifruit season in Whanganui.

Start: Immediate (depending on the season)

Work available: until 20th December

Hours: Usually 7:30/8:00am–5:00pm, with weekend work available

Pay: $23.95 per hour + 8% holiday pay

Location: Whanganui

What will you be doing?

You’ll be working outdoors in kiwifruit orchards doing flower thinning and bud thinning. The

work involves reaching above your head for periods during the day.

No orchard experience is needed – full training is provided.

What you’ll need:

● Minimum height of 165cm due to the overhead nature of the work

● Your own reliable transport to get to work

● A valid visa and the legal right to work in New Zealand

● To be reliable and comfortable working outdoors

● To be available for as much of the season as possible, including weekends
